Changelog

BlockSkin is in beta; we keep improving the site.

  1. v0.2.5-betaCurrent releasePatch

    Easier registration and usability improvements

    • Registration and sign-in screens are easier to use, with a button to return to the homepage.
    • The homepage menu now fits tablet screens more comfortably.
    • Send your selected saved skin from the gallery to your linked Minecraft account, using your Classic or Slim choice.
    • Clearer guidance is available for descriptions that ask for text or logos.
    • Minor bug fixes and usability improvements.
  2. v0.2.4-betaPatch

    Skin studio and saved versions

    • Open your 64×64 Classic and Slim skins in Studio from a generation result or gallery, or enter directly to choose from your own skins.
    • Use the palette and colour picker to adjust eyes, clothing or selected parts. Preview your changes, apply them or undo them.
    • Active Starter, Pro and Mega plans include manual edit completion at no extra credit cost, plus pixel painting and detailed selection.
    • Without a subscription, users who have access to the original file pay 1 credit to complete a new basic edit.
    • Edits are saved separately while the original stays unchanged. Browse your history and create a new saved version from an earlier one.
    • Results and the gallery offer Original / Saved selection. PNG downloads use the selected version.
    • The gallery can also export an image of the saved version’s 3D preview.
    • Studio is easier to use on desktop, tablet and mobile. Make the view smaller or fit it to the available space.
    • The Turkish and English homepage demo shows how to make a small correction in the real studio.
    • See new support replies in the menu. Your message draft is preserved while you read replies.
    • See the credit cost of your selected quality and variants before generating. Previously purchased download rights are preserved.
    • Improved menus, icons and mobile controls, along with minor bug fixes.
  3. v0.2.3-betaPatch

Image → Skin and colour editing are back

    • You can create a Minecraft skin by uploading a character image or a photo; each conversion costs 1 credit.
    • An optional change request can be written in Turkish or English, for example the colour of a single garment.
    • A ready 64x64 skin file uploaded without a change request is transferred exactly.
    • If a file cannot be read, the supported formats are shown and no credits are used.
    • The pricing page and the guide show the Image → Skin price as 1 credit, the amount actually charged.
    • You can change the eye, body, arm and leg colours of a generated skin with a command; each edit costs 1 credit.
    • Consecutive colour edits in the gallery build on the previous edit.
  4. v0.2.2-betaPatch

Refreshed generator screen, clearer faces and easier purchasing

    • Refreshed generator screen: a larger 3D preview, with the view controls moved out of the 3D area.
    • Fixed the error message some users saw while typing long prompts; a typed character could be lost.
    • Text-to-skin generation fills in skin, eye and hair details that suit the character, so faces are clearer.
    • Goggles and similar accessories no longer cover the face unless requested; a requested mask or closed helmet is kept.
    • You can go straight to checkout from the packs in the out-of-credits window.
    • Your prompt is kept when you return to the generator after paying.
    • Skin credits are now counted in the balance shown in the sidebar and on the pricing page.
    • The profile page states that you join our Discord server first to receive the Discord credits.
    • Clearer error messages when generation is temporarily unavailable.
    • Added this changelog page.
  5. v0.2.1-betaPatch

    Skin generation works again

    • Fixed the problem that stopped skin generation between 22 and 28 September.
    • Improved generation stability and fixed minor bugs.
    • No credits were deducted during the outage.
  6. v0.2.0-betaMinor

    New skin generation infrastructure

    • Skin generation moved to a new, faster infrastructure: a Fast or Standard quality skin is ready in about 10–20 seconds.
    • Quality and Ultra tiers, Image Studio, image-to-skin and AI editing are temporarily paused while they move to the new infrastructure.
