We collect information you provide directly: email address, username, and language preference when you register. We collect usage data including prompts you submit, skins you generate, and features you use. We collect technical data such as IP address (for security and rate limiting), browser type, and approximate location.
We use your information to provide and improve the BlockSkin service, send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, payment receipts), prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve our AI models.
BlockSkin uses minimal cookies and localStorage for essential functionality only: storing your authentication token and language preference. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser settings, which will log you out of BlockSkin.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with payment processors (LemonSqueezy) to process transactions, email service providers to send transactional emails, and cloud infrastructure providers to host the service. All third parties are contractually bound to protect your data.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated skin images are stored for 30 days and then automatically deleted. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords (bcrypt), secure token-based authentication, and rate limiting to prevent brute force attacks. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password for your account.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; the right to data portability; the right to restrict or object to processing; and the right to withdraw consent at any time. BlockSkin is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of BlockSkin after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
